BROUSSARD, LA (January 14, 2025) – The Stuller Family Foundation of Lafayette, Louisiana, has donated $5,000 to the Broussard Fire Department (BFD) to help Captain Erik Mannting recover from serious injuries he suffered while battling a house fire on New Year’s Day.

Mannting sustained injuries to his neck and leg during the fire. BFD stated it appreciates the Stuller family’s generosity in helping Mannting and his family during this challenging time.

BFD Engineer Cole Champagne, BFD Firefighter Nicholas Stancliff, and BFD Firefighter Juston Chretien, who were also injured during the fire, are doing well and recovering from minor injuries at home, according to Broussard Fire Chief Bryan Champagne.
