YOUNGSVILLE, LA (January 24, 2025) – On January 21, 2025, Youngsville received up to approximately ten inches of snow in areas. The snow, below-freezing temperatures, and water issues caused many businesses to close for several days.

The Youngsville Chamber of Commerce presents Post-Snow Support Local from January 24 to 26, 2025. Post-Snow Support Local is an effort to support small businesses this weekend and is an opportunity to support Chamber members by visiting local retail stores and restaurants.

Once you visit local businesses, the Chamber asks you to share your adventures on social media using the hashtag #ShopYoungsvilleFirst on your posts.

The Chamber’s President/CEO, Jessica Willis, states, “We are proud to be in a community that stands together through both good times and challenging moments. While the recent snow events brought businesses closures and lost revenue, let’s use this opportunity to highlight the resilience and support that makes Youngsville special!”

To share your business updates this weekend, please email jessica@youngsvillechamber.com, send a direct message to the Chamber on social media, or comment on the Chamber’s Facebook or Instagram post about your business hours!
