YOUNGSVILLE, LA (January 30, 2025) – Krewe de Acadian of Broussard is holding its BYOB (Bringing You Our Best) Hamburger and Hotdog Festival. The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2025, at the Youngsville Sports Complex Amphitheatre at 801 Savoy Road, Youngsville, Louisiana.
Last year, the Krewe’sHamburger Cookoff, Bringing Your Our Burgers “BYOB”, was specifically created as a way to support the local first responders of Broussard and Youngsville, while offering something unique and fun for the community. A hamburger cook-off stood out as an idea that hadn’t been done before, allowing us to create a one-of-a-kind event. This year, we’ve expanded the competition to include hot dogs, making it even more inclusive and exciting!
In 2024, the Krewe raised $2,000, which was donated to the Broussard, Youngsville, and Milton Fire Departments. For 2025, their goal is to raise $5,000 to support the Broussard and Youngsville Police Departments.
Krewe de Acadian started in 2023 with the goal of building community events in a fun and inclusive social atmosphere. The club is dedicated to enhancing its community, steadfastly focusing on fostering a prosperous Broussard for future generations.

Sponsorship Levels
Krewe de Acdian offers four levels of sponsorship. Each level includes an entry into the cook-off and other promotional benefits.
- Diamond ($2,500): Exclusive to one sponsor, includes entry into the cook-off, plus a professional video shoot by the renowned Mr. Mardi Gras, John Weatherall. This video will be featured on our social media platforms and shared via Cox Communications in select TV spots.
- Gold ($1,000)
- Silver ($500)
- Bronze ($300)
