LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA (February 3, 2025) – Students from 26 schools within the Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) auditioned for a spot in the LPSS Honor Choir. Each choir comprises approximately 130 5th and 6th-grade students and approximately 90 7th and 8th-grade students. The 5th and 6th-grade choir will be under the direction of former LPSS Educator Mrs. Juanita Hall, and the 7th and 8th-grade choir will be under Dr. Jason Bowers from Louisiana State University (LSU).
The concert, open to the public, will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Church – 1201 East Broussard Road, Lafayette, Louisiana.
