Lafayette, LA (Mar. 17, 2025) – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG)’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department will temporarily close the 400 block of Failla Road, located between Country Lane and Sandest Drive, from Wednesday, March 19, through Thursday, March 20, 2025, for essential drainage improvements.
Crews will replace cross-drain culverts under the roadway to improve drainage in the area.
Detour Information:
While the road will be closed to through traffic, detour routes will be provided, and local access will be maintained:
- Residents living north of the closure can access their neighborhood via Verot School Road.
- Residents living south of the closure can access their neighborhood via La Neuville Road.
