LAFAYETTE, LA (April 29, 2025) – As we approach the end of the school year, we look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our students alongside teachers, families, and the community. This is an exciting and meaningful time for everyone, with numerous events planned across Lafayette Parish School System (LPSS) campuses and at off-site venues.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please keep the following in mind when attending any LPSS-sponsored event:
- A clear bag policy will be strictly enforced.
- Weapons detection systems will be in place at the entrances of all event venues.
Safety is one of LPSS’s core values, and we remain committed to maintaining secure and welcoming environments as we honor our students’ hard work and achievements.
