The City of Youngsville is currently working with Louisiana Economic Development to obtain the Louisiana Development Ready Community (LDRC) designation.
Part of this process involves obtaining feedback from residents, business owners, and those who work in the city. This feedback will be used to craft a strategic plan for economic development that will complement the city’s Master Plan.
In February, a survey was sent out to solicit feedback and that feedback was used to conduct a S.W.O.T Analysis and determine goals that the strategic plan should focus on.
The city would like to share with the public the results of the analysis and the goals have been determined as a priority. The public will have an opportunity to give feedback and help to move forward in this process.
The city will have an open house on Tuesday, June 17 from 5pm to 6pm in the Youngsville City Hall Council Chambers. Residents, business owners, and those who work in the city that are interested in being a part of this next step of the designation process are invited to attend.
