Broussard, LA (June 18, 2025) – The 2025/2026 City of Broussard budget was adopted on June 9, 2025, which includes salary increases and merit raises.
- Salaries for the Mayor and Chief of Police have also been increased by 3%.
- Salaries for all employees have been adjusted to reflect a 3% merit raise to be allocated at the discretion of each department head.
- The total amount budgeted for merit raises and the pay scale increase is
$ 251,595.
