Lafayette Parish man is facing multiple counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material

Lafayette Parish, LA (January 15, 2025) – Jace Leger, 25, of Lafayette, is behind bars after an extensive investigation involving possession of child sexual abuse materials.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Section was forwarded the case after the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

After conducting search warrants at multiple locations, an arrest warrant was granted for Leger for 112 counts of possession of Child Sexual Abuse Materials.

In conjunction with LPSO Patrol, SWAT and Juvenile Detectives, Leger was located, arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the aforementioned charges.

This investigation remains ongoing. No further information is being released at this time.
