Lafayette, LA (January 21, 2026) – News 15, Your Local News Authority, is excited to announce the return to the airwaves of local broadcasting icon Darla Montgomery as she joins Acadiana’s most experienced, trusted and honored news team for News 15 Midday With Darla. Acadiana’s new preeminent lifestyle program will air weekdays at Noon on KADN FOX 15 and KLAF-NBC starting in March.

Acadiana broadcast veterans Fontenot, Hummel and Brazda all joined News 15 in recent years following changes in operations at KATC, now Montgomery is the latest to make the switch after changes at KLFY.
