Broussard, LA (February 4, 2026) – The Broussard Police Department was awarded a grant by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission to provide High Visibility Enforcement in the areas of OWI Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), Occupant Protection, Railway Safety, and Distracted Driving.
During the month of February, officers will be working to ensure the safe travels of all motorists in our city.
During the Mardi Gras Holiday, the Broussard Police Department encourages everyone to not drink and drive and not to drive high.
