Road Closure East Simcoe at US 90

LAFAYETTE, La. (Jan. 22, 2024 2:10 p.m.) – East Simcoe Street on the west side of its intersection with US 90 Southbound (Evangeline Thruway) will be closed on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary for crews to perform slab-jacking operations in the intersection.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

A detour route will be posted to help guide motorists around the closure.
