LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (Feb. 9, 2024) – The inside lane of I-49 southbound, under the I-10 Overpass, will be closed on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance on the high mast light pole.
The road will be open to regular traffic, but oversized loads passing through the work zone will be restricted to a 12-foot lane.
Emergency vehicles will have access through the construction zone but may encounter delays.
