WASHINGTON (Feb. 16, 2024) – United States Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $21,779,074.77 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Ida, and severe winter storm relief.
“Louisiana is a beacon of strength and resilience through any storm,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This funding will help our communities return to wholeness and better prepare for the next one.”
