UPDATE
LAFAYETTE, LA (July 9, 2024) – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) announces the upcoming closure of the 100 block of Aymar Road. The road will now be closed to all traffic starting July 10, 2024.
The roadway is scheduled to close daily for two weeks from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as Public Works crews conduct drainage infrastructure construction. During this time, detour routes will be provided to guide drivers around the construction zone. Local access will be maintained to ensure residents and businesses in the immediate area are minimally impacted.
Construction is set to be completed by July 17, 2024, weather permitting.
Detour Route:
- Traffic from W. Pinhook Road will be detoured onto Verot School Road and then back to Aymar Road.
