LAFAYETTE, LA (June 19, 2024) – The Lafayette Parish School Board Insurance Committee has adjusted the date of its July meeting. The previously scheduled meeting on July 10, 2024, at 9 a.m. has been canceled and rescheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 9 a.m. The LPSS District Calendar has been updated to reflect the date change.
The tentative Board Insurance Committee meeting agenda will include the following items:
- Designated proposers will present to the Board Insurance Committee for the Group Health Insurance Consulting Services & Related Benefits Quote.
- A committee appointed by the Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent will evaluate the Quote and rank all the proposals based on an evaluation criterion established within the Quote.
- The Board Insurance Committee will hear oral presentations from the selected proposers.
- The Board Insurance Committee will make a final recommendation to the full Board.
- The full Board will have the final decision-making authority on the awarding of the Group Health Insurance Consulting Services & Related Benefits contract
- A Fund 85 Budget Report and a Departmental Staff Report will be presented.
