YOUNGSVILLE, LA (June 30, 2024) – Mayor Ken Ritter invites everyone to celebrate the significant achievements of a couple of their residents and community.
Aliaksei Shostak was selected to represent the USA in Men’s Trampoline Gymnastics for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Aliaksei previously competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, making this repeat achievement a remarkable milestone in his athletic career. He is coached by Dmitri Poliaroush, owner of Trampoline & Tumbling Express.
Aliaksei’s teammate and two-time Olympian Nicole Ahsinger (2016 Rio De Janeiro and 2020 Tokyo) was also selected as an alternate for the Women’s Trampoline Gymnastics Team at the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
