BROUSSARD, LA (August 12, 2024) – LA 182 (East Main Street) from St. Etienne Road to LA 96 (Terrace Highway) will be closed on Friday, August 16 at 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to perform overhead work on the new Frontage Road Bridge above LA 182.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
A detour route will NOT be posted; however, traffic may utilize US 90 to LA 92-1 (Smede Highway) to access LA 182.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive cautiously and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
