I had to be willing to die for everything I knew to get everything I desired and dreamed about.

When I went without food for days, had more bills than I had money at the end of the month, and my weight was on the wrong side of the scale, I knew something had to change. So I changed. I didn’t make excuses. I picked up the book. I went for a run. I journaled. I took more risks. I chose uncomfortable over comfort. I chose different friends. I expected more of myself. I listened to different things. I got better counsel. I chose gratitude over complaining. I took responsibility. I just did it.

I’m still making those decisions today.
