LAFAYETTE, LA (August 26, 2024) – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG)’s Traffic, Roads, and Bridges Department announces the closure of the bridge on Stutes Road, located approximately 0.36 miles west of Lagneaux Road. The closure will occur from September 3, 2024, through March 1, 2025. This period will allow for the replacement of the bridge, including the removal of a 20-foot timber bridge and the installation of a double box culvert.
Detour routes will be clearly marked and available to ensure minimal disruption. Local access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
