Lafayette, LA (January 30, 2025) – The 300 block of Failla Road at the bridge located approximately 0.46 miles southeast of Verot School Road will be closed Monday, February 3, 2025, and Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
This closure is necessary to facilitate preparations for the replacement of the Failla Road bridge. Louisiana Testing and Inspection will conduct boring operations into the roadway to obtain core samples for the project.
Detour Information:
Detour routes will be provided, and local access will be maintained:
- Residents living north of the closure can access their neighborhood via Verot School Road.
- Residents living south of the closure can access their neighborhood via La Neuville.
