YOUNGSVILLE, LA (February 3, 2025) – Students in grades three through five at The Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (ARCA) celebrated National Feed the Birds Day today.
The students crafted over 300 birdhouses and feeders using recycled materials. The third-grade students built birdhouses, while the fourth-grade students created bird feeders.
The birdhouses and feeders have been placed around the campus directly outside classroom windows and surrounding the school’s pond for easy observation. Some of the birdhouses and feeders are being sold. Read more about the project >>
