Lafayette, LA (February 7, 2025) – Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Traffic, Roads and Bridges Department announces a temporary lane closure at West Congress Street and Rue Bibliothèque for sewer infrastructure repairs. An LUS contractor will conduct the work from February 10 through February 20, 2025, weather permitting.
This project will require a one-directional lane closure affecting northwest-bound traffic. No detour is necessary, but motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area.
