Youngsville, LA (February 5, 2026) – The Youngsville Police Department is proud to recognize Officer Lester Hebert III as our February Officer of the Month.
Officer Hebert has nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience, spending the majority of his career with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his service, he has worked in Patrol, Criminal Investigations, and Narcotics Investigations, along with specialized assignments including SWAT, Tactical Surveillance, Honor Guard Commander, and Underwater Dive Recovery.
Officer Hebert has been with the Youngsville Police Department for almost one year, and has shared that he hopes to spend the remainder of his career serving our community.
Outside of the badge, Officer Hebert is a devoted father of two and is also a rising stand-up comedian, bringing laughter wherever he goes.
