Mardi Gras Mambo Collegiate Softball Tournament Returns to Youngsville

Youngsville, LA (February 12, 2026) – The Mardi Gras Mambo collegiate softball tournament will bring high-level competition and visitors from across the country to the Youngsville Sports Complex, as 10 NCAA Division I teams and more than 250 student-athletes compete over the multi-day event.

Hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University, the tournament features a strong regional and national presence. Four Louisiana universities will compete alongside six teams traveling from out of state, highlighting Youngsville as a destination for collegiate athletics.

Louisiana teams competing include:

  • Southeastern Louisiana University (Hammond)
  • Louisiana Tech University (Ruston)
  • Nicholls State University (Thibodaux)
  • Northwestern State University (Natchitoches)

National teams traveling to Youngsville include:

  • Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA)
  • Eastern Illinois University (Charleston, IL)
  • Sam Houston State Univesity (Huntsville, TX)
  • University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN)
  • Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) (Edwardsville, IL)
  • University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, NM)

Tournament passes are available online and onsite, providing fans access to multiple days of competition.

Ticket Information:

  • Daily Pass: $17 per day
  • Weekend Pass: $50 for all three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
  • Passes are required for individuals 13 years and older
  • Children 12 and under are admitted free

Tickets and passes can be purchased online at http://www.i2tickets.com/mambo2026 or onsite at the gate. Credit cards only will be accepted; no cash payments. Passes may be printed or scanned from a mobile device at entry.

Additional event details include:

  • Gates will open two hours before the first game each day
  • No re-entry will be permitted once inside the complex

The Mardi Gras Mambo is expected to draw athletes, families, and fans from across the region and beyond, contributing to a busy and exciting weekend in Youngsville while showcasing the city’s growing role as a host for major sporting events.
