Where It All Started
BY Local News Media was founded in 2022 by Karen Cox with a simple but powerful goal: to make local information more accessible to the community. Inspired by a conversation with her father about the lack of local news, she set out to create something that would fill that gap.
What started as an idea quickly became a trusted source for local updates and community news.
In 2025, Jamie Creed became the sole owner, bringing a fresh vision and a new direction for the platform, one that reflects how people connect, consume content, and engage today.
