On September 19, 2026 Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Youngsville will host a special anniversary seminar featuring Ryron Gracie, honoring a decade of training, growth, and community connection.
A Decade Built on Purpose
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Youngsville located at 501B Church Street, is led by Cortney Meyers, who completed the extensive instructor certification program at Gracie University in 2016.
He is proud to own and operate the only certified Gracie Training Center in Louisiana, bringing world-class instruction directly to the local community.
Using the same techniques and teaching methodology developed by Grandmaster Helio Gracie and taught at Gracie University in Torrance, California, Meyers continues to carry forward the original philosophy of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
His approach remains simple and consistent:
“Change people’s lives one Jiu-Jitsu class at a time.”
That philosophy is reflected in every program offered at the academy.
A Special Guest for a Special Anniversary
To celebrate 10 years, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Youngsville will welcome Ryron Gracie, grandson of Grandmaster Helio Gracie and one of the leading instructors of Gracie University.
His visit represents more than a seminar, it is a direct connection to the legacy of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and the philosophy that continues to shape students around the world.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from him during this milestone event.
