When cooking, get MaD about your seasoning. According to the MaD website, “This is the perfect seasoning to sprinkle on your Sunday supper, season meat for a championship cook-off, or leave on the table when together with friends. You’re sure to be mad when you run out.”
The MaD name comes from part of each owner’s name – Malagarie & Domingue.
The nephew-uncle duo started creating seasonings while experimenting at a campsite. Once they perfected their blend, they established MaD All Purpose Cajun Seasoning LLC.
The MaD team has been avid cook-off participants before launching their business. One such event was held at Hidden Pines Campgrounds in Egan, where they developed a unique seasoning blend with a sweet taste at the beginning and a spicy finish. This seasoning blend became their MaD All Purpose Cajun Seasoning – Original. To meet the needs of spice lovers, MaD began selling Spicy Blend in January of 2023.
The MaD team conducted several seasoning tests on dishes such as gumbos, jambalaya, and others until they achieved the desired blend. Once the blend was finalized, it was sent to Targill’s Seasoning in Opelousas, Louisiana, to formulate a custom production blend for MaD. After receiving the production blend, the MaD team tasted and approved it before proceeding with the mass production of the seasoning.
On July 22, 2022, they filed their business with the Louisiana Secretary of State to make it official. Following this, they began their production, marketing, and sales for the MaD All Purpose Cajun Seasoning – Original on October 1, 2022.
In December 2023, MaD approved a production batch of their seafood boil flavor, now available for purchase.
Targil sent MaD a production sample of MaD to the Bone BBQ Rub for approval. The new product is expected to be sold by the end of February 2024.

MaD All Purpose Cajun Seasoning is a seasoning company owned by a nephew-uncle duo, Blaine Malagarie and Keith Domingue. Malagarie, a resident of Youngsville, is a native of Broussard, Louisiana, while Domingue was raised in Crowley, Louisiana, and currently resides there.
