National School Resource Officer (SRO) Day is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions of school resource officers in schools across the United States. These specially trained law enforcement officers work in schools to ensure safety, prevent crime, and build positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.

The Broussard Police Department expressed its gratitue for the significant impact its SROs have on their schools, the community, and the future of our children. BPD extended its appreciation to
