This forum seeks to raise awareness among state legislators about the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities who receive community-based home care, as well as their families and care providers.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a platform for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and caregivers to communicate their needs to the legislators. The care providers will also get a chance to talk about what they require to offer appropriate care to those with developmental disabilities through Home Community Based Services.
The Disability Care Forum organizers have extended an invitation to the state legislators and legislators-elect in the area.
