LAFAYETTE, LA (September 6, 2024) – Friends of the Lafayette Public Library (FLPL) are pleased to announce their Semiannual Book Sale, open to the public Thursday, September 12, through Saturday, September 14, 2024. For the members pre-sale, become a member at the door on Wednesday, September 11, from 3 to 7 p.m.
The sale will take place at the Heymann Performing Arts Center, 1373 South College Road in Lafayette. Hours vary, but the sale begins at 9:00 a.m. each day. Gently used books are sold by the inch: $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks. FLPL also offers a large assortment of Children’s books, DVDs, CDs, Audio Books, and puzzles.
All money raised by the book sale benefits the Lafayette Public Library. To date, FLPL has raised over one million dollars for the Library.
