YOUNGSVILLE, LA (December 8, 2024) – The Rotary Club of Youngsville (RCY) has officially completed its first international project.

The Rotary Club partnered with the Rotary Club of Felicity/Charlieville (RCFC) in Trinidad and Tobago. The Rotary Club had the privilege of providing the acrylic donation boxes the RCFC Club needed to continue raising funds to purchase wheelchairs for their community and surrounding Islands.

The RCY Club is happy to report the donation boxes are being filled with monetary donations.

According to Denise Rangai, an RYC member, the RYC has shipped 87 acrylic donation boxes to Trinidad. Ranagi, who was in Trinidad last week, said, “I was able to help distribute boxes to local shopping stores around Trinidad last week. I was also able to meet a few recipients of the wheelchairs. They are so grateful for the support of our club!”
