Avoyelles Parish native Holly Deshautelle called the Lafayette area home since 2002. What she loves most about the area is the Cajun cuisine.
She is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves local food, including rice and gravy, and likes cooking outdoors on the patio.
Deshautelle is a graduate of Marksville High School and attended both Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. With a background rooted in agriculture—her father was both a farmer and a crawfish harvester—she grew up hunting, fishing, and even harvesting crawfish on her family’s farm.
After spending 13 years as a real estate agent, she transitioned into property management six years ago. She works for Pegasus Residential at Parkway Villas in Broussard, overseeing marketing, financials, resident services, and daily operations.
An active member of the Broussard-Youngsville community, Deshautelle enjoys supporting local organizations and events. This year, on April 13 in Youngsville, Parkway Villas sponsors and participates in the BYOB (Bringing You Our Best) Hamburger & Hotdog Festival, hosted by Krewe de Acadian, with Deshautelle cooking for the event.
Deshautelle lives in Youngsville with her fiancé, Ryan, and is a proud mother of three. Her oldest daughter is a senior in Pre-Med at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, her youngest daughter attends Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (ARCA) in Youngsville, and her son is set to graduate this year from Southside High School.
