Suzanne Germany, a personal trainer, began her fitness journey four and a half years ago. Back then, she worked as a sales manager for a roofing company. Her job involved climbing ladders to get on roofs, but she was out of shape and unable to do it. She also had to get inside the attics, which left her feeling winded due to her poor physical condition.
The roofing company owner offered Germany a deal: if she worked for the company for ninety days, he would pay for a one-year gym membership for her. On the ninetieth day, she accepted the offer. Since then, she has been focused on improving her fitness and has not looked back.
After losing both her father and her brother in 2022, Germany realized life was too short. That realization made her go after what she wanted to do, which was to be a fitness trainer. In telling her mother of her decision, she said she felt this is what God wants her to do.
Germany earned certification as a Fitness Trainer in January 2023 through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Cajun Fitness hired Germany as a personal trainer for their Broussard and Youngsville locations in April 2023, where she trains exclusively for them.
While training clients, she leverages her twenty-two years of sales experience and her passion for assisting people in achieving their fitness goals.
When asked about her enjoyment as a personal trainer, her eyes gleamed as she spoke about the evolution she sees in her clients. She enjoys witnessing her clients transform their nutrition from junk food to nutritious food while they shed inches and weight. She loves to see her clients feel stronger and more confident as they progress. She continued by saying, “My pride is passion” and “I have pride in every single one of my clients”.
Germany is holding a free Health and Wellness Seminar on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at 10 a.m. The seminar will occur at Cajun Fitness, 812 East Main Street in Broussard, Louisiana.
The seminar is open to everyone, both members and non-members. No sign-up is required.
