LAFAYETTE, LA (May 1, 2024) – The Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center has partnered with the BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, for its “Empty the Shelters” reduced-fee adoption event from May 1 through 15, 2024. The Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center and more than 380 shelters in 43 states will participate.
From May 1 through May 15, all adoption fees at the Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center will be waived. A list of adoptable pets can be found online: www.lafayettela.gov/lascc/adopt/available-pets.
The Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center and BISSELL Pet Foundation urge families to research the pet they are interested in adopting and adoption requirements.
