YPD Extends Appreciation for School Resource Officers

February 15 is recognized as National School Resource Officer (SRO) Day. The Youngsville Police Department is marking the observance by honoring the dedicated law enforcement officers who serve in local schools and make a lasting difference in the lives of students each day.

School Resource Officers play a role that extends beyond campus security. They build relationships, mentor students, and help shape a positive future for children throughout the community. Their presence contributes to safe learning environments while fostering trust and positive leadership within Youngsville schools.
