Broussard’s Downtown Water Tower Has Been Rehabilitated

BROUSSARD, LA (April 26, 2025) – The water towers in Broussard are being rehabilitated as part of the city’s water system upgrade master plan. The rehabilitation of the downtown water tower has been completed, which includes an updated graphic on the tower. The water tower located off Highway 90, near the Broussard Public Service Complex, will also undergo rehabilitation.

In addition to rehabilitating the city’s two water towers, the city’s water system upgrade master plan includes new projects such as adding two additional water wells, expanding water storage capacity, and replacing aging water lines.
