LAFAYETTE, La. (Dec. 28, 2023) – The Lafayette Police Department (LPD) is having cameras installed throughout the City of Lafayette.
LPD advises the cameras are not speed cameras. The cameras are cameras to assist the LPD with identifying suspects in crimes committed and also assist with identifying violators in crashes.
