ATCHAFALAYA BASIN BRIDGE in LA (January 18, 2025) – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Sunday, January 19, there will be a slow-moving operation along the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge on Interstate 10.
During this operation, DOTD crews will be working to pre-treat the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge ahead of the forecasted winter weather.
Due to the slow-moving operation, motorists are more than likely to encounter delays.
Motorists are encouraged to drive safely and be on the lookout for crews and their equipment.

- 511 Traveler Information: Travelers can find information regarding road closures by downloading the Louisiana 511 mobile app or by visiting the 511 Traveler Information website at www.511la.org.
