On Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10:00 to 11 a.m., Americans for Prosperity-Louisiana (AFP-LA) sponsored the rollback of the gas price to $1.99 a gallon at the Grab-n-Geaux on 521 Albertson Parkway in Brousssard, Louisiana, to offer relief for Louisiana families suffering from what AFP-LA calls ‘Bidenomics.’

AFP-LA stated, “Louisiana residents feel the impact of higher prices due to ‘Bidenomics,’ AFP-LA will provide temporary relief by rolling back gas to the price with Biden first took office ahead of summer travel plans.”

According to AFP-LA, under the Biden Administration, energy costs are up 39% and gas prices continue to climb which often impacts summertime plans for Louisiana families. The bottom line is ‘Bidenomics’ has led to higher prices which are an incredible burden on ratepayers, but with stronger economic policies prosperity is possible for Americans in Louisiana and across the country.
