Broussard, LA (March 26, 2026) – The new Highway 90 overpass at Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Broussard is now open to traffic in both directions, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing infrastructure project, according to Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque.
Construction work is expected to continue in the area until the project is fully completed later this year. Drivers are advised to remain alert for crews working nearby, particularly along the frontage roads on both sides of the overpass.
City officials anticipate the new interchange will support future economic development in the surrounding area, including along Ambassador Caffery Parkway and near the intersection.
