According to Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter’s Facebook post, Lafayette Street in Youngsville will have the last curb pour will take place today.

“The last concrete curb pour will take place place today. This will enable the road to be reopened to two lanes of traffic tomorrow. Overall the downtown streetscape project is still on schedule, although this component (removing and replacing curbing to widen road) has admittedly taken longer than expected. Street lighting, landscaping, and a new asphalt overlay with striping are still to come. Thank you for your patience as we enhance the heart of our city. I apologize for any inconvenience.”
