A large branch on an oak tree in Broussard, Louisiana, broke, and repair crews are on the scene today to remove it.
The tree is located on Main Street between South Bernard Road and Springwater Drive.
A representative of the City of Broussard stated that there was no indication that the branch broke due to weather-related issues.
The last picture below shows the tree in 2023.
