LDWF TO STOCK GIRARD PARK, SOUTHSIDE REGIONAL PARK WITH RAINBOW TROUT
Lafayette, LA – On Tuesday, January 24, anglers can cast their lines for adult-size rainbow trout at the Girard Park pond and Southside Regional Park pond at Fabacher Field. Both sites are being stocked for easy fishing as part of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Get Out and Fish! Program.
Ages 18 and older must have a Louisiana fishing license when fishing in Louisiana public waters. Licenses can be purchased at: https://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/page/recreational-fishing-licenses-and-permits.
