City Councilman Pat Lewis hosts: NEIGHBORHOOD TOWN HALL MEETING ON PROPOSED REZONING

LAFAYETTE, LA – District 1 Lafayette City Councilman Patrick “Pat” Lewis is hosting a neighborhood town hall meeting to discuss the proposed rezoning of the former J. Wallace James Elementary School campus at 100 Poydras Street in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The proposed rezoning to a commercial zoning designation is being requested to house a specialized medical facility, for which Councilman Lewis seeks to provide an opportunity for the developers to present information and answer questions about their proposal and, most importantly, for Councilman Lewis to gather input on the proposal from area residents and property owners.

This meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in the gymnasium on the campus of Holy Family Catholic School at 200 Saint John Street in Lafayette. Councilman Lewis strongly encourages citizen participation, so this meeting is open to the public.
