BROUSSARD, La. (Dec. 14, 2023) – The mayor of Broussard, Ray Bourque, announced that the South Bernard Road Phase 3 Project is currently in progress. The project reconstruction of the road, widening a section of the road to three lanes, improving drainage, and adding a turn lane for businesses at the bridge.
These improvements aim to enhance traffic connectivity to Highway 90. The project is expected to be completed sometime next year.
Glenn Lege Construction LLC is the contractor for the construction. The contract amount for the project is four million one hundred ninety-nine thousand thirty-two dollars and no cents ($4,198,032.00).
