Lafayette, LA (February 24, 2026) – District 4 School Board Member Amy Trahan, along with leadership from the Lafayette Parish School System, will announce the proposed name of the new school to be constructed on Lafayette’s north side.
The proposed name reflects valuable input gathered from community members during two public meetings held earlier this month. The meetings provided families, neighbors, and stakeholders an opportunity to share feedback and help shape the identity of the new campus.
