LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA (September 13, 2024) – All Lafayette Parish public schools will reopen on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Following an early morning inspection of our campuses, crews reported no issues that would create an unsafe environment for our students and faculty. As a result, schools will resume their regular schedules starting tomorrow.
Additionally, football and other athletic practices may resume this afternoon at the discretion of principals and coaches, who will contact players directly.
We look forward to welcoming all students and staff back and resuming our normal operations tomorrow.
