UPDATE: Broussard, LA (February 16, 2026) – The accident was a single vehicle crash when the driver experienced a medical issue, ran off the roadway, and struck a vacant home. The driver was transported to local hospital. The home sustained major damage.
The crash is still under investigation.
ORIGINAL: Broussard, LA (February 15, 2026) – A pickup truck crashed through a garage on Kelsea Drive in Broussard’s Huval Holiday Subdivision this afternoon, entering through one side and exiting through the other.
The home, which is currently for sale, was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
