At approximately 2:17 p.m., officers responded to a fight/disturbance call involving weapons on the 300 block of Harrington Drive. 

On December 7, 2023, at approximately 5:50 a.m., officers with the Broussard Police Department responded to the 500 block of East Fairfield Drive for a major crash involving two vehicles.

Youngsville Police Chief Cody Louviere reports there was heavy law enforcement presence in the Fairfax subdivision and Guilliot / Nicole Drive area within the last two hours due to a possible burglary suspect who fled on foot from officers of the Youngsville Police Department.

The Lafayette Police Department (LPD) is requesting the community’s help with locating a suspect wanted in reference to a homicide that occurred on October 29, 2023, in the 500 block of Orchid Drive.

On November 27, 2023, at 11:52 a.m., The Lafayette Police Department responded to the 200 block of Felicie Drive about a shooting incident in progress.

Lafayette Police Traffic Investigators are currently on the scene of a major vehicle crash involving a dump truck on the 200 block of Shepard Drive in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Lafayette Police Officers responded to the 2800 block of the Northeast Evangeline Thruway around 5:22 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene and located a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
